The cake for the hospice will also be delivered to FA BUT
On Wednesday 7 October, BUT will once again take part in the
‘Cake for the Hospice’ charity event, organised by the Brno Diocesan Charity to
support hospice care. Staff and students can contribute to the care of
terminally ill patients and their loved ones by purchasing a cake.
As is tradition, BUT will also be taking part in the
campaign. In addition to four stalls located at the Faculty of Business and
Management, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication
Technologies, the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Civil Engineering in
Björnsonovy sady near the Piknik Box, a mobile unit selling fresh cakes will
also be touring the university.
The mobile sales unit will visit the individual departments
of BUT according to the following schedule:
- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at 7.15,
- Faculty of Information Technology at 10.00,
- Faculty of Architecture at 11.00,
- BUT Rector’s Office from 12.00.
The biscuits will be delivered separately to CEITEC VUT in
the morning.
The biscuits for this year’s event have once again been
prepared by our colleagues from the VUT Halls of Residence and Canteens, to
whom we extend our thanks for their long-standing support of this charitable
initiative.
