Exhibition of Student Projects: School District in Rychnov nad Kněžnou
We cordially invite you to the exhibition of student
projects focused on the design of school streets in Rychnov nad Kněžnou,
combined with a public presentation of the proposals.
The event will take place on Monday, 22 June 2026 at 11:00
a.m. in the foyer of Kino Rychnov nad Kněžnou.
The aim of the studio was to design a safe public space for
everyday movement in the centre of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The students explored
the transformation of the area between the town’s three squares into a
contemporary and permeable urban environment that supports the safe movement of
both children and adults, calms traffic, and strengthens the school-oriented
character of the area.
These student projects were developed at the Faculty of
Architecture, BUT, within the Palacký–Dokoupilová
Studio, and are presented under the theme School District in Motion.
