VESNA LAB – launch of the publication WARDROBE and exhibition of diploma theses

The event will present the publication Wardrobe, which is the output of the students of the Vesna Lab studio from the summer semester of 2024.
The publication contains the results of the cultural mapping of the Wardrobe, which is a material assistance center operated by a women's educational association known as Vesna.
The students worked there as volunteers for one semester. During this time, they collected many stories and visual material, documenting the moments that bring people to the edge of so-called invisible poverty.
Thanks to the connection with the local community, the students designed a new scenario for the center's operation and, in the form of furniture elements, implemented the first impulse for transforming this place into a re-use center.
In-depth analyses of the further development of the center and the entire Vesna in the following two semesters resulted in a continuation within the framework of diploma projects, which will present five scenarios for the future direction of Vesna.
